Someone Call 911! How to Prepare for Emergencies on Your Golf Course

Monday, February 6
1:00 pm – 5:00 pm

Registration Required

(1387-01) Safety should be your team’s #1 priority - from the maintenance shop to the clubhouse and with countless risks across your golf course. Pre-plan, practice, and know your role in acting quickly and safely in your day-to-day operations. With several decades of experience and countless hours of training, we’ll provide simulated scenarios and ways to be prepared, react, respond, and recover. This unique education will fold in experience from the Emergency Responders’ perspective on preplanning and how to identify routing, Safety Data Sheets (SDS), what to do if a chemical spills, a rollover on the course, or a medical emergency. You’ll get tips on how to work with your facility and local emergency responders on creating preplans for dealing with different scenarios - a bee sting, equipment entrapment, water rescues, severe weather - while keeping you and your staff safe. Preparation is key! “Safety is the seam that joins life’s fabric. Don’t let loose threads bring it undone.”
