(1264-01) Careers in the golf industry present challenges in maintaining an appropriate balance between work and family life. This industry can be prone to long and unpredictable hours under very stressful mental and physical conditions. It is not uncommon for family relationships to suffer when work demands are high. All of this has been exacerbated by current economic conditions and human resource shortages. In this seminar, we will offer skills and strategies that can be implemented to achieve a healthier balance in relationships with work and family.

In this seminar you will learn

• Six strategies to support family connection.

• About the "Marital Happiness Curve" and how this impacts work/family life.

• Strategies to make work a priority when needed.

Hear from a dual-career couple (one in the green industry and one who is a Licensed Professional Counselor) about their personal experiences in learning to balance work and family life.
