(1305-01) This presentation is aimed to assist superintendents and assistant superintendents in preparing for a golf course renovation project and covers everything from what needs to be done prior to the renovation to ways to make their project affordable while achieving the goals of the project. We will present case studies throughout the presentation to apply the knowledge to actual projects. This seminar is intended for superintendents and assistant superintendents who have considerable renovation and/or construction knowledge and who have served as the superintendent or assistant superintendent at a course that underwent a renovation and/or construction project or who have taken the Basic Understanding seminar or the 2021 virtual seminar on this topic. This seminar will delve deeper into the details of the superintendent’s role in the planning of a project from conception to bidding and up to the construction start date.
