Sequencing of your Renovation; Understanding the Process and Timeline

Thursday, February 10
1:00pm – 5:00pm

Registration Required

(1342-01) The presentation will focus on what superintendents can expect during a golf course construction and/or renovation project at their facility. Superintendents will learn what the demands will be of them during construction and how to manage their energy between maintaining the golf course and being involved in the construction renovation project process, as well as keeping members and management informed. Learn key issues that could arise during construction and how to see them before they occur. They will learn how to act as the golf course’s key representative to the golf course contractor, since the superintendent of the course is often the most involved employee of the golf course in the construction process and tasked with making sure the contractor is successfully executing the construction/renovation. The information presented will allow the attendees to be able to better understand what to expect during their next golf course renovation/construction project with case studies and timelines to help prepare for what’s ahead.
