Renee Geyer
Renee D. Geyer is in her third full year with Canterwood Golf and Country Club in Gig Harbor, WA as the head Golf Course Superintendent. Born and raised in Ohio, Geyer attended The Ohio State University Agricultural Technical Institute in Wooster, Ohio and then began her professional career at Firestone Country Club in Akron, Ohio. She is a 16-year member of GCSAA and has served on the national GCSAA PAC Board, GCSAA Nominating Committee and has been involved with GCSAA task groups throughout her career. Serving as a speaker at the Ohio Turfgrass Foundation Conference and Show as well as the National Conference and Trade Show, Geyer has been able to highlight involvement and passion for promoting the presence of women in the Golf Industry. When not at the golf course, she enjoys time with family, throwing competitive darts and gardening with her wife.
