Terri Billeisen, Ph.D.

Terri Billeisen, Ph.D., is an Extension Associate in the Department of Entomology and Plant Pathology at NC State University. She earned her bachelors and masters degrees in entomology at Purdue University and her Ph.D. at NC State University. Billeisen also did post-doctoral research, specializing in turfgrass entomology at NC State. Her current research focuses on fall armyworm and annual bluegrass weevil ecology and management, insect pollinator population dynamics and biological options for control of red imported fire ants in managed turfgrass systems.
