Nathan Crace, ASGCA

Nathan Crace is an award-winning golf course architect and member of the American Society of Golf Course Architects (ASGCA). A native of Indiana, he is a graduate of Mississippi State University’s Professional Golf Management program and worked for years as a club professional and later as a general manager before designing golf courses professionally—a background that benefits his clients because he has a better understanding of the day-to-day workings of a golf course. Crace’s design clients have ranged from municipal and daily fee courses to resorts, private clubs, and even the US Air Force. His work has been recognized by Golf Digest for Copper Mill GC (“Best New Affordable Public Course in America”) and Golf Inc Magazine for Ole Miss GC (“#3 Best Public Course Renovation in America”) as well as a 2017 ASGCA “Design Excellence Award” for his short game facility for the University of Southern Mississippi at Hattiesburg CC. Crace is the operating principal of Watermark Golf/Nathan Crace Design and its sister company Watermark Golf Management, LLC. He and his wife have three children and reside in south Mississippi.
