Nathaniel Mitkowski, Ph.D.
Nathaniel Mitkowski, Ph.D., is a Professor, Plant Sciences and Entomology at the University of Rhode Island in Kingston. He earned a bachelor's from the University of Massachusetts and his Ph.D. in Plant Pathology from Cornell University. His primary research focus is improving and developing disease control strategies for intensively managed turfgrass systems. Mitkowski is currently working with collaborators from around the region studying the control and management of the beech leaf nematode.
