Michael P Rabe

Michael Rabe is the Assistant Manager of the Hancock Turfgrass Research Center at Michigan State University and a graduate student pursuing his master’s degree in the Plant, Soil, and Microbial Sciences Department at MSU. His thesis research focuses on comparing Variable Depth Rootzone and Capillary Hydroponic System putting greens to promote sustainable putting green management. Rabe has over 10 years of golf course maintenance experience and is a Class A GCSAA member. He is a recipient of the Robert J. Delisa Scholarship, Norman W. Kramer Outstanding Student Award, Charles E. and Frances Osterman Scholarship, Michigan GCSA Scholarship, and a GCSAA Scholar’s award.
