Carson Letot
Carson Letot, Ph.D., is a faculty member at Sandhills Community College and program coordinator for the USGA's Greenkeeper Apprenticeship Program where he works with turf professionals to develop turfgrass management skillsets and career readiness. He has multiple degrees from Michigan State University in Crop and Soil Science and Agricultural Education, earned a masters from Cornell in Professional Studies, and a Ph.D. from The Pennsylvania State University in Agriculture and Extension Education. Letot has worked in turf, university extension, and in secondary education as an agriculture and environmental science educator. In addition to teaching, he runs an educational consulting company and in his spare time likes to play golf and travel.
