Emily Braithwaite
Emily Braithwaite graduated from Rutgers University with a Plant Biology degree and a focus in Turfgrass Management. She moved to Oregon and started working as a Faculty Research Assistant for Alec Kowalewski, Ph.D. During her time at OSU, Braithwaite’s research has included disease management on annual bluegrass putting greens, adaptation of low-input fine fescue cultivars in sustainable landscapes, integrated pest management strategies for reduced pesticide inputs, and turfgrass variety evaluation.
