Jennifer A Grant, Ph.D.
Jennifer Grant, Ph.D., is Director Emerita, New York State IPM Program, Cornell University. She earned her bachelors and masters from University of Vermont and her Ph.D. in entomology from Cornell University. Grant provided leadership for the NYS IPM Program for nearly 20 years, setting program direction and priorities and working to communicate IPM advantages and impacts. Her area of expertise includes pest management of turfgrass systems, including golf courses, lawns and athletic fields; monitoring of scarab grubs in turfgrass; the use of entomopathogenic nematodes for the biological control of soil-dwelling insects; and IPM training for turfgrass professionals
