Carlos Arraya, CGCS

Carlos Arraya, CGCS, is the current General Manager/CEO of Bellerive Country Club where he has been leading golf operations since 1996. His teams have hosted and prepared championship golf events for several PGA, USGA, and major state championships, including the 1997, 2001, 2008, and 2012 U.S. Open, the 1998 Senior U.S. Open qualifiers, and notably, the 2018 100th PGA Championship at Bellerive. Arraya’s leadership efforts have led to the scheduled hosting of the 2026 BMW Championship and the 2030 Presidents Cup to be held at Bellerive Country Club. He is a Certified Golf Course Superintendent (CGCS) and on the path to becoming a Certified Club Manager (CCM). Arraya’s executive leadership style has been characterized as dynamic and motivating, and he is known to possess a strong coaching mentality. This leadership style has allowed him to transform operations and develop professionals in all areas of club disciplines, which deliver exceptional member services.
