Ken Mangum, CGCS Retired

Ken Mangum, CGCS Retired, is the president of Ken Mangum Golf Course Consulting, specializing in grassing, fertility and management recommendations for new courses and renovations. He earned his degree in golf course operations from Lake City Community College and worked at Atlanta Athletic Club for nearly 30 years, finishing his tenure as Director of Golf Courses and Grounds. Mangum served on the GCSAA Board of Directors from 1996 to 2001. In 2013, he was the recipient of both the USGA Fred Grainger Award and the GSCAA Col. John Morley Distinguished Service Award. In 2015, Mangum was inducted into the Georgia Golf Hall of Fame.
