David Barton
Dave Barton, PGA, is the Executive Director of the National Alliance for Accessible Golf. He has been with the National Alliance since March of 2022, entering the golf industry in 2005 after a 22-year Navy career as a Naval Aviator - Helicopter Pilot, spending the final years of his military career serving the Chairman, Joint Chiefs of Staff, Pentagon. Barton was Editor, Golf Business Magazine and Golf Business Weekly while serving as the Sr. Director of Membership and Education for the National Golf Course Owners Association. He is a PGA Hope instructor in Charleston, SC and previously instructed adaptive golf with the Salute Military Golf Association in Maryland, a national non-profit providing rehabilitative golf programs, experiences, and family inclusive golf opportunities for post 9/11 wounded war veterans in an effort to improve the quality of life for these American heroes.
