Travis W Gannon, Ph.D.
Travis Gannon, Ph.D., is an associate professor at North Carolina State University where he earned his bachelor’s, masters and Ph.D., with concentrations in turfgrass management and weed science. He leads a research program investigating the fate and behavior of pesticides and trace elements in soil, plants, air, and water. Gannon has experience working on a golf course crew and past research trials he led were conducted in various turfgrass environments including golf courses and athletic fields. Gannon also teaches two graduate level courses including pesticide chemistry and pesticide fate and behavior as well as mentoring both graduate and undergraduate students.
