Patrick R Finlen, CGCS
Patrick R. Finlen, CGCS, is the general manager at the Winchester Country Club. Finlen was hired in 2002 as the director of golf maintenance operations for The Olympic Club in San Francisco. Early in 2013, he became the director of golf at The Olympic Club and then became general manager Dec. 1, 2013. Previous to the Olympic Club, Finlen was the director of golf course maintenance at Bayonet & Black Horse in Seaside, Calif., for four years and a superintendent in Kansas City and Virginia Beach, Va., since starting his superintendent career in 1984. Finlen is a graduate of Rockhurst College in Kansas City, Mo., with a degree in business administration. He has been a certified superintendent since 1989. He is a past president of GCSAA, the California GCSA, The GCSA of Northern California, and The Heart of America GCSA.
