Trent Manning, CTEM

Born in North Georgia, Trent Manning has remained close to home as equipment manager at both Ansley and Settindown Creek Golf Club. Manning earned certificates in small engines, electrical and reel theory from Gwinnett Technical College. Manning completed the GCSAA Equipment Management Certificate Program. He also completed the EETC certificates in Electrical, Hydraulic, Four Stroke Engines and Diesel Engines while working for a Toro Distributor where he was a mobile service technician. Manning has been in the golf equipment industry for over 21 years and shares his expertise with national and international audiences. He serves his local chapter, GGCSA, developing equipment manager education and also serves on the Equipment Managers Task Group for GCSAA. He received first place prize from the CMAA for designing and fabricating a mobile water trailer that is used to water small areas on the golf course. In 2018, Manning was recognized for excellence among golf course equipment managers as the Most Valuable Technician by GCSAA and GCM magazine in partnership with Foley United.
