Matthew G Shaffer
Matthew G. Shaffer is the past Director of Golf Course Operations at Merion Golf Club in Ardmore, Pa. He has been a GCSAA member since 1980 and is also a member of the Philadelphia GCSA Chapter. Shaffer is a past president of the Pennsylvania Turfgrass Council and hosted the 2013 US Open Championship. He has also hosted the 2005 US Amateur Championship and the 2009 Walker Cup Match.
