Henry Heinz, CTEM
Henry “Skip” Heinz is the Equipment and Facilities Manager at the Royal Poinciana Golf Club in Naples, Fla. Heinz was born into the golf and turf industry and spent four years as a superintendent before returning to equipment management. He has been working professionally in the industry for over thirty years and has been a member of GCSAA for twenty-seven years. Heinz has presented for GCSAA, local chapters, and state associations on Teamwork, Managing Equipment Fleets, and Facility Organization. He was the 2004 recipient of the Technician of the Year Award. Heinz has completed levels 1 and 2 of the Equipment Managers Certificate program through GCSAA, is a GCSAA Class A member, and is certified in Florida’s Best Management Practice program. Heinz has been married to his wife Deborah for 30 years, and together they have one daughter and three grandchildren. Heinz also enjoys riding his Harley, kayaking with his wife, and being outdoors.
