(1098-01) Golf’s modern focus on environmental and economic sustainability has led to increased interest in low maintenance roughs. Management of naturalized areas can influence water quality and use, lower costs and improve wildlife spaces. You will learn to create and improve low maintenance roughs through selection of grasses, incorporation of native forest components, and forbs for wildlife. Improve aesthetics, pace of play, overall course quality, and obtain resources for selecting and establishing the best plants.
