Paul Dawson is a Golf Course Superintendent at Desert Mountain Golf Club in Scottsdale, Ariz. He earned a diploma in Turfgrass Management from Murdoch Institute of Technology and interned through The Ohio State University. His experience spans across continents including expertise working within various climatic regions at renowned courses throughout Arizona, Alabama, North Carolina, and Australia. Tasked with maintaining one of the most stunning golf courses in Arizona, Dawson has a deep-rooted interest in science, natural resource management, upholding the core values of Desert Mountain, and leading with passion. An Australian native, he appreciates the culture, people, and communication amongst his teammates and leadership team at Desert Mountain, a private club that includes seven distinct golf courses and clubhouses as part of a luxury residential community covering more than 8,300 acres.
