Logan Murphy

Logan Murphy is the Golf Course Superintendent at Desert Mountain’s Outlaw Course, a traditional links-style track located on 176 acres adjacent to the Tonto National Forest. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from the University of Kansas and specialized in Golf Course Turfgrass Management at Penn State University. Murphy brings a wealth of expertise from his decade-long tenure at Pinehurst, with a journey that began at Mariah Hills Golf Course and Prairie Dunes Country Club. Murphy received the Fellow in Leadership Honor from the Dedman Center for Business Leadership and is a past participant of The Greenstart Academy and Syngenta Business Institute. He is passionate about leadership, team building, and the importance of giving one's best effort, while embracing learning opportunities along the way. Murphy cherishes quality time with his wife and two sons in Phoenix, Ariz.
