David H Robinson, CGCS
David H. Robinson, CGCS, is Senior Director of Golf Grounds with Marriott Golf. He is responsible for global golf grounds operations and development. Robinson earned a degree in Golf Course Management and a Certificate in Turf Equipment Management from Lake City Community College. He also earned a bachelor’s in Turf Science from Penn State. Prior to his current role he served as Superintendent of Golf Grounds at Marco Island Marriott Beach Resort, Golf Club & Spa in Naples, Florida. Robinson is both a Certified Golf Course Superintendent and a Certified Golf Irrigation Auditor. He is a member of the Florida Golf Course Superintendents Association, Central Florida Golf Course Superintendents Association, and the Florida Turfgrass Association in addition to GCSAA. He has served on numerous committees and boards throughout his career. Robinson has been married for 28 years and has two daughters. His interests outside of family activities include flying, golf, obstacle course racing, and ultramarathoning.
