The 5K will not take place in Phoenix but will return in 2025 at the GCSAA Conference and Trade Show in San Diego.
Unfortunately, an adequate course could not be identified within walking distance to the Phoenix Convention Center. GCSAA explored multiple options, however most required travel and with a start time after 7:45am due to a late sunrise, it would have made it difficult for runners to also attend education and other early morning events.
GCSAA is working on identifying trails that you can run with others and will share them soon.
Like you, we are disappointed and hope you understand this is a one-year hiatus and look forward to returning to offering a 5K in San Diego.
