Ambassador Academy I
presented in partnership with
Ambassador Academy 2024 features Geoff Vetter, senior vice president, and Anthony LaFauce, managing director, from The Clyde Group to lead this year’s training. With clients including CropLife America, Tiger Woods Foundation, Hewlett-Packard, and the American Diabetes Association, The Clyde Group has quickly earned numerous awards since entering the advocacy space in 2017, including Best New Agency of the Year, PR Week’s Champions of PR, and Washington Business Journal’s 40 under 40.
Ambassador Academy will take place over the course of two separate sessions, each featuring different content. Whether you're an experienced advocate or just a beginner, both sessions will be relevant and informative and are sure to help your communication skills on the golf course and in the public sphere.
As one ambassador said of the 2023 Academy, “This is the most valuable education I’ve received in years. The information presented helps us as superintendents not only advocate, but it also helps us better understand how to talk to your boss, your members, and your co-workers.”
Regarding training received by the Clyde Group at last year’s Academy, another ambassador said, “I started using the information they provided immediately. This is practical, real-world world stuff you can implement right away in your advocacy work.”
With experience in journalism, politics and consumer affairs, government relations, crisis communications and more, ambassadors will not want to miss what Vetter and LaFauce have to offer. You must be currently serving as a Grassroots Ambassador to attend. If you are not currently serving in the Grassroots Ambassador program, sign up now.
